As her registered
name suggests, Carillon Ellie's Living Legacy, Katie,
is a beautiful daughter out of the famous Ch. Carillon
Elegance of Rummer Run's, ‘Ellie's'
second litter. When my sister-in-law, Cindy, called to
say she had a little Ellie girl for me, I was beside
myself with joy!
Katie represents the ideal boxer, with wonderful temperament,
typey head, correct conformation and an amazing zest
for life. Blissfully happy and free-spirited, this lovely
lady couldn’t care less who writes the rules, or
even what the rules are. Her main concern is to make
sure all the toys are fully accounted for, in her possession,
and that someone is available to play with.
Katie’s exuberance is evident in everything she
does, whether it be at play, learning new skills, or
in the show ring. Dubbed the ‘showing machine’ by
her handler Rick Justice, Katie enters the show ring
with a sense of entitlement, looking around to make sure
everyone’s eyes are riveted on her. She thinks
the shows were invented for her pleasure alone and delights
in the attention she receives.
Rick Justice expertly guided Katie to her championship
winning 3 majors along the way. Kay Palade-Peiser showed
Katie for her first three points.
